Ms. Riya who was 12 years old. Her mother Mrs. Rangeeta has come to our organization for the help of their daughters education. She has 3 daughtes, her 1 daughter is Mentally Retired(MR). She was seprated with her husband and she was not able to pay her daughters school fee a her financial condition was not good. Because of which she was getting her daughter’s education in midway. Her daughters were studying in National Model School, Mansa Ram Park, Uttam Nagar.
FHD helped her and gave her whole year school fee for her elder daughter, Riya. So that she studied hard and passed with good marks.
Our Beneficiary Mr. Satya Prakash Tiwari belongs to a poor family and was living in District Sitapur near Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He is Blind by birth and his father is a worshiper and he also knows worshipping.
He is 12th passed. His neighbor Mr. Sunil (FHD Beneficiary) told him about FHD then he contact to Mr. Brijraj Singh (Founder & President of FHD) directly regarding job or own work but Mr. Brijraj saw that he was not able to manage own business so Mr. Brijraj think that he is able to work as worshipper then Mr. Brijraj Singh called him and said come to Delhi. Mr. Satya Prakash Singh came to Delhi then Mr. Brijraj helped him to find work place and due to finding the job he stayed in FHD’s Blind Hostel.
Due to seeking job period he does marriage with Hostel’s family member Ms. Ranjana (She was widow) with the help of FHD. Then Mr. Brijraj Singh placed him in a nearby temple as a worshiper. Now they both are very happy and they have a son, also he is showing path of FHD to other disabled people those have some problems.
Mrs. Komal Arora who was 26 years old when she got married. She was got married with Mr. Chander Prakash Arora. She was very happy with her married life but just after 1 month of her marriage, her in-laws started demanding dowry. In the starting her family fulfilled their demands, but their demands were increasing
day by day. When their dowry demands were not completed her in-laws fired her from their house. She filed the case against them in court and fought for justice for 14 years but she didn’t get justice. Then someone told her about FHD. She came to our organization and told her story. After that our organization helped her. We provided her the lawyer for her case and all the expenses of the lawyer were raised by the organization and then her case again started in Tis Hazari Court.
In just about 2 years she got the justice. In the above picture she has the court papers. She got 1 lac Rupees as the penalty amount and getting 5000 Rupees monthly as the maintenance charges. She is very thankful to FHD.
Our beneficiary Mr. Arjun belongs to a poor family and was living in UP. He suffered Polio when he was just 6 months old and his family was not supportable to make him educated and self reliant. As per the parents illiteracy now Arjun is 50% disabled by legs and he was facing walking problems. When he was 21 years old he came to Delhi for earning but his disability were creating problems and he didn’t get the job.
One day he was waiting for his friend, he met with Mr. Brijraj Singh and shared his problem. Then our organization helped him to open his own Helmet Shop in Dwarka Sector-4 and make
himself reliant. Now, Mr. Arjun is Travelled by his own Tricycle which provided by FHD with the help of Governing Body. Now, Mr. Arjun is living his life happily with his family. FHD helped Mr. Arjun in Disability Certificate, ID Proof, Address Proof, Tricycle and Handicapped Pension. Our beneficiary Mr. Mohan Tiwari belongs to a poor family and was living in Bihar. He suffered Polio when he was just 8 months old and his family was not supportable to make him educated and self reliant. When he was 24 years old he came to Delhi for earning but his disability were creating problems and he didn’t get the job.
One day he met with Mr. Brijraj Singh and shared his problem. Then our organization helped him to open his own CD shop in Slum Basti of Dwarka Dwarka Sector-3 at the corridor of his home and make himself reliant. Now, Mr. Mohan Tiwari Travelled by his own Tricycle which provided by FHD with the help of Governing Body. Today he has confidence to teach others that disability is no more a hindrance in proving ones ability and desire to be self dependent. He is an encouragement to others who want to work and earn.
Our beneficiary Mr. Bholanath S/o. Shri Ram Swaroop belongs to a poor family and was living in Amroha, UP. He suffered by Polio when he was just 4 years old. Now, Bholanath is 70% disabled by legs and he was facing walking problems.
Now, Bholanath is living his life happily with his family and showing path of FHD to other disabled people those have some problems. She came to our organization and told her story. After that our organization helped her. We provided her the lawyer for her case and all the expenses of the lawyer were raised by the organization and then her case again started in Tis Hazari Court.
FHD helped Mr. Bholanath in Disability Certificate, Bus Pass, Rail Pass, Residence Proof and pension facility.
Devendra lives with his family in Timarpur, New Delhi. There are four members in his family. He completed his 12th class from the Government school. After schooling he was eager to work and make his career. Getting job was very challenging for him since he is handicapped. In his childhood he was fallen from the stairs which resulted in losing his one hand. Now, Devendra was disappointed. Then hee was also counselled and guided by the FHD. Proper Guidance and support improved his confidence and motivated him develop his personality.
His skills and confidence level and we placed him in Lemon Tree Hotels, Aerocity, New Delhi as a Front Desk Service Executive. Devendra is very happy working in a good environment; he dresses ups very nicely. Now he also support his family financially. “Devendra sets example to others who is ever ready to take the challenges”
Jai Nath Singh, a 25-year-old man, with polio in both lower limbs is unable to stand and walk but in today’s time he has helped another man by helping him earn a salary of Rs 2200/ month for working in his shop and handling his tea stall.
Like any person with disability with the desire to be self sufficient and independent, Jai Nath Singh came to Delhi 3 years ago in search of work. After proving his capabilities, he found work in a shoe manufacturing factory, in Naraina Vihar, New Delhi, which was far from his house from Okhla. He had great difficulty in commuting and left the work. Then, he was not working for 2 months and facing very difficulties as he had no money. Meanwhile, someone told him about FHD.
Then, he called in our Foundation. Firstly we moved him to Naraina Vihar in Delhi. There he lives with his friends from village and we had opened him a tea stall in the same area from where he worked previously and started serving the workers of the same factory.
He was earning well but wanted to grow his tea stall by adding other eatables to it. Then again he approached FHD for financial assistance and was helped by FHD seeing his zeal and will to grow in life.
The results were fruitful with his daily savings rising to Rs 200-250/ day. His vision is to increase his potentials by excelling in different arts of life to be self sufficient, for that he has learned mobile repairing and will soon start his centre to teach others and earn.
