About FHD

We are trying to make PWD's self-relient since 2009

The Foundation of Handicapped Development is a non-government organization registered under the ACT 1860(Registration No.S/66075). It is established in June 2009 by Mr. Brij Raj Singh who is 85% disabled by birth then also he is facilitating PWDs by his activities. Inspite of his physical disability of legs and hands he is willing to help the handicapped person. He says "I consider it my duty to help others. Humans are the only ones who work for the people and they cannot get any work that is happy." He has helped hundreds of disabled people till now. Brijraj believes that it is more important for people with disabilities to become self-sufficient than ordinary people. Over the past 6 years we have been working for persons with various disabilities i.e. Orthopedic, Hearing & Speech and Visually impaired. Many of these people come from different cities and our centre is a heaven for them. We are also running a Blind Hostel for blinds where they stay, study and also learn music with free care.

In the since 2009 we are working for the PWDs by helping them to start their own business or appoint them in different companies as they are depend on others. Our goal is to bring together information on all relevant issues related to disabilities. We believe that it is vital for the disabled and those taking care of them to remain informed and aware. We endeavour to reach out to them via the Net because of the accessible nature of the medium.
